The Best Dog Friendly Pubs and Restaurants in Liverpool

Tuesday 13th April 2021

Restrictions are no more, the sun is blazing, we’re in the thick of spring… it’s the perfect conditions for you to make the most out of Liverpool’s outdoor hospitality scene!

Liverpool is a really gorgeous city to call home when the spring and summer months arrive, and there’s an abundance of pubs and restaurants you can visit for a refreshing beverage or a delightful bite to eat. If you don’t want to leave your dog behind in this lovely weather, then don’t fret as that’s not the only option you’re confined to!

There are several dog-friendly pubs and restaurants scattered throughout the city. We don’t think a visit to the Cat Cafe on Bold Street will quite go down so well, but the following businesses will welcome your dogs with open arms.

If you think we’ve missed a dog-friendly pub or restaurant in Liverpool, then please let us know. We’d love to hear from you with your suggestions on dog-friendly venues!

The Kazimier Garden is considered by many to be one of the best beer gardens in Liverpool. This is a cosy and secluded venue that guarantees sun whenever it decides to show itself. As confirmed on their website, all dogs are welcome to pay a visit.

If you’re lucky, your dog may be featured on the pub’s Instagram account as part of their Dog of the Week series.

Is Doggy Day Care More Suited?

We know that not every situation is ideal for taking your dog with you. Your favourite spot for food and drink may not cater to dogs or you might just find the experience too much hassle – after all, even pet parents need a break from their pooch from time to time. If you’re planning on having a bit too much to drink, then it may be best not to bring your dog along, even if just to save the dog’s humiliation of watching their human embarrass themselves!

With all that said, your dog doesn’t need to stay at home. We are a doggy day care centre in Liverpool and it is our commitment to making sure dogs have a fun, playful and relaxing day with us. We can accept bookings from just three hours to a full day. So if you’re planning on a day out, get in touch with us today and we’ll look after your dog for you.
